In Touch is the quarterly magazine of St Thomas of Canterbury parish. It is an integral part of the parish’s communications system. It aims to provide a platform upon which parishioners can express their views by letter and short articles of not more than 1,500 words.
The editor seeks topical articles on the local and universal church and on world affairs that affect Christians and other faiths in an increasingly atheistic world. Articles of interest on a wide range of less serious subjects as well as humorous snippets will also be published.
The Kids Page, although aimed at children from eight to fifteen, has been known to interest children as young as seventy-five. Parish events will be reported upon provided organisers of these events send in their reports to the collator of the Chronicle of Parish Events pages.
The overall objective is to bring parishioners closer together by publishing their written work along with their photographs.
