Best moment: Swimming out to the waterfalls in Samaipata Santa Cruz and dancing under them in our clothes.
Worst Moment: The first trek in Samaipata because it was such a shock to the system and it was really tough… a great challenge.
My most personally fulfilling moment: Looking back at the mountain range after completing the Takesi Trail, also when we finished the project work in La Paz in the orphanage.
What I learnt about myself: If I set myself a target or a goal I can reach it, also that I have determination and confindence.
What did I learn about others: People are so different to first Impressions and my opinions of people changed once I got to know them. I also learnt that everyone is always there for you.
Funniest Moment: There were so many funny moments but a few of them that come to mind are: dancing under the waterfalls singing ‘its raining men’, and the big Bolivia campsite diary impressions.
How the trip affected me as a person: The trip helped me to value things in life that I would normally take advantage of including family and lifestyle.
Am I different in any way: I think I have become less selfish and more confident about myself around other people, I feel I can be myself more comfortably.
Do you have any regrets? Not bringing more clothes.
Best phase of the trip: Whilst doing the project in La Paz and the final few days in Peru.
Has the trip changed the way you think about the world? Yes it has shown me how lucky I am and that there is more to life than material things.
